The Mission:

The mission of the Urban Academy & Performing Arts Preschool is to provide a curriculum balanced between traditional education that focuses on reading foundations and the performing arts.  The Urban Academy will provide a highly trained staff to create a safe and therapeutic environment that is conducive to the nurturing and enrichment of young minds.  The "My Baby Can Read" and "Preschool Prep" curriculums will be used to help children develop a strong foundation to read.  Students will also experience drama, dance, music and art through exercises such as acting out stories and poems.  They will learn basic movement and dance and learn about vocals by singing together.  Above all, the Urban Academy is committed to the overall education and creative success of its students.
